About The Building:
Brickhouse Studio + Events is housed in a beautifully restored standalone brick building originally built in 1930 as the Paola Post Office. Located just half a block from the Paola Square, our venue occupies the building’s main floor with convenient access from Pearl Street.
The space features original exposed brick walls, an open and versatile floor plan, soft neutral tones, and large windows that fill the venue with natural light. Blending historic character with modern simplicity, Brickhouse Studio + Events provides a beautiful and inviting setting to bring people together.
Meet The Owner:
Hi, I’m Kourtney Huffman! My fiancé, Reed, and I were both raised in Paola, and today we’re proud to be raising our own family in the community we’ve always called home. There’s something truly special about watching your children grow up in the same hometown that shaped you. Being able to contribute to the growth and future of our community makes that experience even more meaningful.
Owning an event venue has been a dream of mine for as long as I can remember. With the support of Reed and his family, that dream has become a reality through Brickhouse Studio + Events.
This historic building has long been a cherished part of Paola, and it’s an honor to continue its story. Our hope is to preserve the character that our community knows and loves while creating a beautiful space where new memories can be made.
